For visitors flying into Jordan, the cost of a single-entry visa, for all nationalities is 20 JD (around $30), and visas can be obtained upon arrival at the airport. For multiple-entry visas, for all nationalities, is the cost is 60 JD (around $85), and they can be obtained at the nearest embassy or consulate.
Should you be a group of five persons or more arriving in Jordan through a designated Jordanian tour operator, with a government certified tour guide, you will be exempt from all visa charges. This waiver is provided as long as the group arrives and departs together, in addition to them staying a minimum of two nights in Jordan.
Some nationalities will require an entry visa to be obtained prior to travel. As the list of nationalities is subject to change, we recommend you check with the Jordanian Diplomatic Mission in your country prior to travel, to ensure you have all the necessary paperwork before your trip.
Visitors arriving at Aqaba, either through the port, the airport or at the crossing from Israel or Saudi Arabia, will be granted a free visa to Jordan. There is no obligation associated with this visa, provided that recipients leave the country within one month of arrival, and that they do not need to renew their visa.
Exit fees applie for both land and sea border points, and are charged at 8.00 JD per passenger and 5.00 JD per vehicle.
